A busy calendar of taxi shows came to a close for the year as the Cab Direct roadshow team reached it’s most southerly point.
The final shows of 2013, held in Southampton and Portsmouth, proved a huge success with dozens of taxi drivers turning out over the course of the two days.
The taxi show team was kept busy each day with many cabbies taking the opportunity to test-drive the various models on display. Drivers also took the chance to get a part-exchange valuation before deciding among the deals on offer.
Commenting on the latest taxi shows, local Area Sales Manager, Peter Fiore, said: “Both shows have been really well attended, which is great. It’s good to meet so many drivers and give them the chance to test-drive the cabs we have to offer so they can make up their own minds.”
Portsmouth Taxi Roadshow
The UK’s only island city was the first port of call for the roadshow team. The event was held at Portsmouth FC and showcased Britain’s favourite full spec black cabs – the Peugeot E7™ and Peugeot EuroTaxi™.

Southampton Taxi Roadshow
From Portsmouth, the team then travelled north to Southampton where the range of cabs on show was supplemented by Cab Direct’s best ever selling wheelchair accessible taxi, the Peugeot Premier™.
