At Cab Direct we run competitions throughout the year giving taxi drivers based in the UK the chance to grab a grand. A lucky winner is chosen at random every quarter and, this time around, it was private hire driver Parvez Ahmed who was delighted with the news.
Driver of City Taxis in Sheffield, Mr Ahmed, said: “When Susie from the marketing team called me I was so surprised but I knew it was genuine. I remembered filling in an entry form at the taxi roadshow a few weeks before. It really made my day to hear I was the winner!”

The news couldn’t have come at a better time for Mr Ahmed who is jetting off to Pakistan for a family wedding.
