Minibuses are increasingly becoming part of Britain’s taxi fleets as operators strive for greater flexibility and efficiency. But it is of course vital to ensure you get the right vehicle, on time and at the right price.
Jack’s Taxis, in Workington, Cumbria, found they were doing so well with their existing minibus that they were keen to get another on board. Unfortunately, having placed an order with one company, they found themselves let down badly in when it came to delivery.
It was then that Cab Direct came to the rescue. Kate Birkett, who runs Jacks Taxis, heard about Cab Direct’s recently launched range of minibuses, tailor-made for the taxi trade.

Little did she know that, in her haste, she had overlooked some key features of the vehicle specification, which still weren’t quite right for her needs!
“That’s when I started to panic,” explains Kate. “The first thing I did was make a call to Cab Direct’s customer service department but really I was expecting the worst, following my recent experience with other suppliers.”
“However I was so relieved by Cab Direct’s response,” says Kate. “When I explained that I had made a mistake with my order they said they completely understood and quickly sorted me out with a vehicle that suited my needs perfectly.”
