We had a great turnout at the PHTM Taxi Show in Milton Keynes on 31 May and 1 June. It was well attended by taxi drivers, operators, licensing officers and over 60 exhibitors! We’d like to thank Liza at PHTM and her team for making us so welcome and helping us arrange the event. Everything went smoothly from our point of view, and we were delighted to talk to so many drivers and made several taxi sales on the day!
Our Excellent Team
At the event, our sales team were on hand to talk through our finance packages and answer any questions about our taxis. Our sales team included Peter who primarily focuses on hackney sales, Helen for private hire sales and Iain our patient transport vehicle expert. Our Events Manager Simon was on hand to help with all the set-up and tear down after the event and answer any questions on licensing requirements given his several years in the business.
Our Taxi Range
Mercedes-Benz Vito Taxi is a popular choice if you’re a hackney driver and is one of just a few purpose-built vehicles currently available. Vito Taxi was popular on our stand – especially given it is available for immediate delivery! We demonstrated one of the vehicles inside and had another text drive vehicle in the car park so drivers could ‘try before you buy.’ We also brought some of our most popular private hire taxis to the show – the Toyota Corolla Touring Sports, Kia e-Niro and the Ford Tourneo Custom. We were delighted to showcase these vehicles and talk to drivers about stock availability and delivery times. New to our stand this year was the Ford Patient Transport Vehicle, and our expert was able to talk to drivers about the benefits of driving this vehicle, especially in London.
Prize Draw Winners
As well as giving away goodie bags to everyone who visited us at the stand, we had a daily prize draw which was popular. We had a winner both days, each receiving £250! On Tuesday our winner Mark from the Wirral was delighted with his prize. On Wednesday it was a lucky day for young Jack who had happily joined his dad Gary on both days of the event as it was the school holiday week. Congratulations to both our winners and thanks to everyone who entered.
