The new Peugeot Station Wagon from Cab Direct is going down a storm, with rave reviews from taxi drivers across the UK.

Cab Direct reports that orders for Peugeot’s Station Wagon and Estate models have doubled in the last month.

General Manager Peter Facenna comments: “These spacious models offer the perfect solution for private hire taxi drivers and we’re delighted with the positive response we’ve received. Taxi drivers certainly seem to be recommending it to each other.”

Benefits of the Station Wagon taxi include ample head room plus increased leg room – all topped off with the spectacular panoramic glass roof. The special luggage grill ensures that drivers can take full advantage of the massive boot space, while the superb Peugeot 2.0 HDi engine ensures fantastic fuel economy as well as ample power.

David Pennington from Seascale in Cumbria said: “The vehicle is spot on. It’s ideal for airport work with ample space for luggage and customers. It really looks the part. Also, it takes in a lot of light, which my passengers like. I can’t recommend it highly enough. I’ll certainly be back to Cab Direct for my next vehicle. It’s been brilliant!”

Sandra Berry from Oban in the Scottish Highlands said: “It’s fantastic, a really great car. It’s spacious, nice to drive, reliable and economical on fuel. If you’re looking for an ideal car for a taxi then all I can say is ‘Go ahead with the Peugeot Station Wagon!’

Sandra continues: “What a difference to the old Peugeot. It’s really brilliant. I’ve had lots of interest from other drivers. I’ve already recommended it to one person and gave him a test drive of mine! The Peugeot Station Wagon is as big as any other estate but looks so much neater.”
