Economical Cab
Whilst our premium taxi is the luxurious Mercedes Benz Vito Taxi, our Peugeot Premier™ taxi is popular amongst many cabbies for its great value. Premier™ offers the best of both worlds – a compact and economical MPV one minute and a fully wheelchair accessible cab the next. Based on the Peugeot Rifter, you can choose between petrol and diesel – both are Euro 6 compliant engines. The diesel is a 1.5L BlueHDi 100 engine with a six-speed manual gearbox giving you up to 57.4 mpg on the WLTP combined cycle. The petrol option with its eight-speed automatic gearbox is a 1.2-litre Puretech 130 engine that can achieve up to 43.7 mpg on the same combined cycle. Both have start-stop technology, making your driving more efficient.
Premium Features
Our Premier™ is based on the Allure Premium model from Peugeot that’s packed with great features. The base RS model comes with smart and clever features like body-coloured bumpers, rear parking sensors and daytime running LED lights. Inside you’ll find Cruise control, air conditioning, Bluetooth® connectivity, USB port and the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® 8.0″ colour touch screen. Opt for the RX model for extra taxi features such as floor mats, a professional LED high visibility taxi sign and a taxi meter.
Accessible and Flexible
When you require wheelchair access, Premier’s lightweight FlatFold™ ramp simply lifts from its position on the vehicle floor to give you quick and easy access. The taxi benefits from its lowered floor, providing a shallow ramp gradient. Placing the wheelchair in restraints it extremely simply using our four-point wheelchair restraint system and full lap and diagonal seat belt. What’s more, when you’re not using the ramp it can be stowed away smoothly to allow you to take full advantage of Premier’s spacious 775-litre boot – plenty of space for those airport runs!
Premier™ is also a very flexible cab. Our standard model provides space for up to 4 passengers or 1 front passenger and a wheelchair. When you opt for the long-wheelbase Premier Plus, you can take up to six seated passengers with two tip and turn seats in the rear. This means you can fit in up to four with the wheelchair passenger.
