The Corolla from Toyota is one of our most popular hybrids, winning a multitude of awards over the years. We sell both the Saloon and Touring Sports Estates to private hire taxi drivers and there is a choice of models from the base Icon to the superior Design or Excel. The Icon comes loaded with great features including LED daytime running lights, heated front seats, cruise control and a reversing camera. Kia e-Niro
What’s there to say about the Kia e-Niro? We love this car and it’s currently our Car of the Month. It’s another multi-award-winning vehicle and what our Marketing Director chooses to drive. Donald drives the 4+ and loves the traffic jam pilot, lane keep assist and the Bose premium audio system.
The E-Niro is fully electric with zero-emissions so you’re helping the environment, but the base model has a top speed of 96 mph so it’s nippy! You can drive for up to 180 miles on a single charge but choose the 3 or 4 models with a larger 64 kWh battery and you can last for up to 282 miles!
Nissan Leaf
The Nissan Leaf is becoming more and more popular for use in the trade. It’s also fully electric with a choice of 40 kWh or 62 kWh battery – the longer-range giving you up to 239 miles on a single charge. Being zero emissions means there’s no tax to pay and you can even get a £2,500 government grant towards the cost of your new taxi. There’s a range of models from the base model Acenta to the top of the range e+Tekna.
Standard features include LED signature daytime running lights, automatic air conditioning, intelligent Cruise Control, DAB audio system and the NissanConnect EV navigation and entertainment system with an 8″ touchscreen.
