Raymond Davidson, from Bonnyrigg in Edinburgh, has been driving taxis since 1972 and in his 36 years in the job he has seen various taxis come and go. However, he has never been more impressed than with New E7 purpose-built taxi from Cab Direct.
Raymond was already enjoying the benefits of driving the old model E7 but after test-driving the new model he couldn’t wait to own one himself. He explains: “I had the old model E7 cab which was a superb motor. However, New E7 is in a class of its own. It’s top of the range. Comfort, fuel economy, space – New E7 has it all.”
Having driven various alternatives during his time in the trade Raymond is well placed to offer a critique. He comments: “There’s no comparison between the E7 and the taxis I’ve had before. It’s far superior – by a country mile. It’s simply outstanding.”
Raymond continues: “I can’t praise New E7 enough. It’s excellent on fuel and very reasonable to service too. And the space and comfort levels are unsurpassed.”
Even lighter, even quicker and even easier to use, both drivers and wheelchair passengers alike are enjoying the benefits of New E7’s pull out ramp.
Raymond explains: “In the company I work for we have lots of NHS contracts and are often collecting passengers from old people’s homes or taking them to and from appointments. The EasyGlide™ under-floor ramp makes a huge difference to the drivers. It’s so easy to use and far more convenient than the alternatives. And it’s not only wheelchairs we are able to accommodate. I often take passengers in mobility scooters too – it’s no hassle at all.”
Raymond couldn’t be happier with his new taxi and is only too happy to recommend it to other drivers. He comments: “I am forever recommending the E7. And every driver I’ve spoken to is more than ready to make the change. Not only does it look exactly as a modern-day taxi should but is fits the purpose perfectly. My customers absolutely love it.”
Raymond continues: “There’s only one place I’d buy from too and that’s Cab Direct. The service really is first class – the staff can’t do enough for you.”
