Flexilite™ Minibus
Our very own Flexilite™ minibus is great for use as a taxi because it can fit up to 17 passengers and has space for up to 4 wheelchair passengers. Based on the Peugeot Boxer or Citroen Relay we’ve converted the minibus with special lightweight materials meaning it can be driven on a standard licence*.
Special features in our standard Flexilite™ include sliding door, double front passenger seat and reverse parking sensors. For your comfort and convenience, there’s power steering, electrically adjustable heated door mirrors and air conditioning in the driver’s cabin as well as two glove boxes for storage. For optimum accessibility, a folding rear access ramp is easy to operate and store away when not in use. Wheelchair restraints secure the wheelchair passengers and all passengers have three-point seat belts for safety. There are emergency exits and an escape hatch, a fire extinguisher and first aid kit so you are fully equipped to transport large groups.
Ford Tourneo Custom
The versatile Tourneo Custom from Ford is a great choice if you want to carry up to eight passengers comfortably. It’s a popular choice for many private hire taxi drivers because of it’s carrying capacity and huge boot – 1,900 litres if you opt for the long-wheelbase model. We offer a choice of 2 models in this range; Titanium and Titanium X. Ford taxis have a great list of features and the Tourneo is no different. You’ll benefit from automatic headlights, parking sensors, 8” touchscreen, cruise control and Ford’s unique quickclear heated windscreen. If you opt for the Titanium X model, you will also enjoy leather seat trim, adaptive cruise control and a rearview camera.
Ford MaxiCab™
MaxiCab™ is a fully accessible nine-seater minibus designed by Cab Direct and based on the popular Tourneo Custom from Ford. MaxiCab™ comes with all features found in the Tourneo Custom, but what makes this taxi different is our bifold access ramp that allows you to cater for wheelchair passengers. The ramp is secured in an upright position in the boot and doesn’t impact on the luggage capacity. It’s easy to use when you need it – simply release the latch and it swings out so you can safely position it to the ground. The back row of seats will fold down to cater for the wheelchair passenger giving you room for a further six seated passengers. You can also choose to add on electric side steps, running boards or high visibility grab handles.
Renault Trafic
The Trafic is a modern-looking nine-seat MPV with all the comfort and safety features you would expect from a Renault. The Business model comes with DAB Radio, Bluetooth, daytime running lights and heated door mirrors. Choose the Sport model for 7″ touchscreen navigation system, 17” alloy wheels, leather steering wheel and cruise control. Trafic comes in a range of engine sizes from 120 – 170 PS and excellent boot storage. Renault Trafic is covered by a warranty package for up to 3 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
