Taxi sales specialist Cab Direct has given away another £500 to an unsuspecting cabbie in its latest prize draw.
Surprised cab owner and part-time driver Laura Lucas, from Edinburgh, was delighted to hear of her win…. once she believed it was genuine that is!
Mercedes vito taxi owner Laura recalls: “When I first heard I’d won the cash prize I thought one of the other drivers was at the wind up – which wouldn’t be unusual. I just couldn’t believe my luck!”
Double Celebration
It seems the winning of the £500 cash windfall couldn’t have come at a better time. Laura explains: “I was presented with the cheque by my local sales rep, Thomas, the day before my 40th birthday so it was great timing!
“I put part of the money towards the celebrations and the rest I’m using to help pay for some decorating I’ve been doing. Obviously you enter these things never expecting to win but the money has come in really handy so I’d like to extend a big thanks to Cab Direct.”
