Following receipt of what has now been deemed the best EVER customer email to grace the sales@cabdirect.com inbox, it was with great delight that we spoke to Janet Jacks from Worthing – a recent Toyota Hybrid Auris customer.
With Janet’s email kicking off with ‘First of all, och aye the noo to you this morning’ and continuing with a pictorial homage to her new car, we knew we were in for a treat.
Research Pays Off
Here Janet explains why the Hybrid Auris has made such a good impression:
“I did my research before buying the Auris and found many taxi drivers in the U.S own the Prius, which has the same engine, and have achieved incredible longevity of their vehicles with battery packs remaining reliable throughout.

Driveability
Janet continues in her praise: “So many features of the Auris have impressed me as well as my customers too. The quietness is much appreciated and has the effect of making me drive in a calm manner. The smoothness adds to this sense as well.
“The suspension is fantastic too – in my previous car every pot hole was like a bomb crater, it’s now a much more satisfying and comfortable journey.
“The tinted glass has proved to be an unexpected boon too. Bizarrely the inside of the car remains at quite a cool temperature even when it’s hot outside which means no need for the air con to cool down – another money saver. Also it doesn’t seem to fog up as much inside which again means I don’t have to turn on the air con to demist which is a further bonus economy wise too.”
Specification
Designed for space, comfort and functionality the Auris Touring boasts impressive legroom and is equipped with fantastic specification as standard. There are three models in the Hybrid line up, all of which come with seven airbags and a full complement of electronic driver aids including hill-start assist, vehicle stability control and LED daytime running lights.
