The Peugeot E7 is undoubtedly an iconic sight around the UK’s towns and cities. With its sleak modern design and revolutionary LED for hire signage it is difficult for taxi users to miss. However, one way to make your E7 stand out even more than the rest is to have the colour changed to pink!
That’s what Richard Bridgewater from Witney in Oxfordshire decided to do when he purchased his new E7 SE from Cab Direct. “I was in Cambridge a few months back and saw a pink taxi and liked the way it stood out. I like trying to do something different when it comes to my taxi business and believe that customers respond more when you offer something unique.”
This certainly seems to have worked as Richard has been extremely busy since he took delivery of his pink Peugeot E7. “Lots of customers call and ask specifically for it which just goes to show how well known the vehicle has become already”, commented Richard. “Having the taxi sprayed pink is a nice touch but the vehicle still has to be fit for the job and the E7 is nothing short of first class. I have a number of regular wheelchair passengers who think the E7 is excellent and far more comfortable than other hackney taxi”, explained Richard.
