This month we caught up with Cab Direct customer, Trevor Plant, who has nothing but praise for the popular Peugeot Partner.
Becoming a Taxi Driver
At the age of 42, and after travelling the world, Trevor found his new “home” in Bude, Cornwall. After doing a spot of bar work in the town, he met a friend who was looking for a driver.
Trevor commented: “I applied for the job and got myself a hackney taxi licence. I haven’t looked back since.”
Not long after, Trevor made the decision to go it alone. He said: “I started my taxi business in April 2011 after around 18 months working with local firm Seagull Cabs.”

Thriving Business

He said: “I didn’t realise how much I loved the marketing side of the business until I started out on my own.
“I launched the website last year which has really helped in getting my number and email address out there.”
