Crisp February winds did nothing to deter buyers seeking keen deals on a wide range of new and used vehicles.
Regional Manager Darren McDonald was delighted with the popularity of the event.
“Since opening a year ago we’ve seen a steady growth in traffic at our new Superstore,” says McDonald. “However this is the biggest turnout we’ve had yet for a special event and the most amount of business we have done on a single day.”
McDonald is delighted by the way business continues to build, as owners and drivers in the region get to know about the Superstore. He sees the success of the Open Day event as reassurance that the products Cab Direct offer are meeting the needs of the local taxi trade.
“At the same time we had drivers from as far afield as Sheffield and Dorset travelling here for the Open Day, which is really encouraging to see,” adds McDonald.
The Cab Direct Coventry Superstore stocks a wide range of new and used vehicles. The used department offers both trade and retail taxis, including TXs, Metrocabs, Eurotaxis, saloons and minibuses. New taxi sales are led by the hugely popular E7 hackney taxi and the Peugeot Station Wagon private hire vehicle. Sales of the low-cost wheelchair accessible Fiat Freedom and the versatile Eurobus are also buoyant.
