We, at Cab Direct, love nothing more than to be the bearer of good news and announcing the winner of our fantastic quarterly prize draw is one of our favourite things to do. So much so, that we decided to up our game with the summer 2016 prize draw.
Southampton Special
On top of the popular, UK wide prize draw, we also gave the employees of Radio Taxis in Southampton a draw of their very own!
With a much improved chance of winning – approximately just 1 in 250 – it really did create quite a buzz in the office. However, we could only pick one winner and we’re delighted to announce that the lucky entrant, chosen at random, was driver Asim Mohammed.
Lost for Words
“I thought it was a scam at first but here I am with my cheque. I’m so happy!”
Cab Direct Marketing Executive, Victoria, had the pleasure of making the call. She said: “Mr Mohammed was completely speechless when I told him he was the winner. He couldn’t quite believe it! To be fair, if I got a call to say that I’d won £500 I think I’d be exactly same.”
South Central sales representative, Peter, went along to the Radio Taxis office the following week to present him with his cheque – it was only then that it sunk in with Mr Mohammed.
He commented: “I really couldn’t believe it; I thought it was a scam at first but here I am with my cheque. I’m so happy!”
When asked what he’d spend the money on, Mr Mohammed said: “I’ve not decided yet but I know that I’ll definitely be treating my family.”
Chairman of Radio Taxis, Clive Johnson, was equally delighted to be first to host a Cab Direct Featured Firm prize draw. Clive said: “It was a great way to uplift our spirits. I’d love for Radio Taxis to take part again.”
