I got to speak to Gavin Gillies, Managing Director of Cab Direct, who is clearly delighted about the new Select range. “We’ve worked really hard to persuade top-flight manufacturers to take this industry seriously,” says Gillies. “I’m delighted that Skoda, Toyota, Volkswagen, Peugeot and Renault have agreed to commit to these new deals, through Cab Direct.

“At the same time it was really important for us to choose the right partners,” adds Gillies. “That’s why we were careful to seek feedback from hundreds of drivers before finalising our shortlist for the new Select taxi range. I am really grateful to everyone who has shared their views with us.”
