Cab Direct had a great time at the PHTM Expo 2024 on the 15th and 16th of May. It was a brilliant turnout from taxi drivers, operators, and those within the taxi industry. It was an incredible opportunity for our team to meet with our current customers and new prospective buyers. We can all proudly say that it was a fantastic experience to speak with the people who are the backbone of the taxi industry.
Learning from our customers
The PHTM Expo is always a great opportunity for Cab Direct to speak with our customers to further understand their needs to grow as a business. The taxi and private hire industry is fast growing and ever-changing, so it is invaluable for our team to learn from our customers to continue to meet their needs at such a high standard. Two of our taxi sales specialists Helen and Terri were on hand to put their vast knowledge of our taxis to use and answer any questions put forward.
Our excellent range of taxis at the show
The Toyota Corolla was popular among private hire drivers at the stand, particularly due to its savings and availability for immediate delivery. We were delighted to see the interest shown in our range of standard, electric, and wheelchair-accessible vehicles we had on show and are pleased to say that many happy customers left with a new vehicle over the two days.
Cab Direct brought some of our most popular vehicles to the show – the Toyota Corolla, Kia Niro EV, Toyota bZ4X, Ford Journey, and Ford Tourneo Custom. We were happy to talk drivers and fleet managers through the technical details of each vehicle, and how our delivery times and service set us apart from the rest of the industry.
Prize draw winners
We also ran a prize draw competition over the two days and had a winner from each of the days, totalling £1000! Congratulations to our day one winner Mubarik Ali from Newport and day two winner Stephen Dunne from Northampton! We hope you enjoy your prize.
