People in the historic Wiltshire town of Chippenham are starting to see themselves in the black more and more – thanks to Cab Direct.
Taxi firm Home James recently took delivery of their latest Onyx Black Peugeot 406 from the country’s leading taxi supplier, bringing their fleet total to nine – all purchased within a year.
Company owner Jim Mitchell, pictured here, says, “Cab Direct has to be my first choice every time. They have consistently been far better than other taxi suppliers.”
Jim’s fleet had previously comprised of Hyundai Sonatas, which he had planned on converting to gas. But when the government stopped their incentives for converting vehicles, he was left with a problem.
“I had a fleet of petrol vehicles travelling a huge distance every day, which was obviously costing me a lot of money,” said Jim.
When he tried to change his vehicles, he found that, although there were many companies who were willing to sell him new cars, few wanted to take in the old ones. “That’s where Cab Direct came up trumps,” related Jim.
