August saw an upswing in taxi sales at Cab Direct following the launch of their latest model refresh, offering a bumper SEVEN fantastic new features on the market-leading Peugeot E7 taxi.  

Summer Refresh

It seems the best keeps getting better, as the Summer Refresh takes the leading modern-style black cab for sale on the market today to another level.

Cab Direct sales director, Peter Facenna, explains: "This is all about listening to our customers.

"The E7 taxi has proved hugely popular, especially since the launch of the new shape taxi in 2007.  However we're always talking to customers about things - some little, some bigger - that we could do to make their taxi even better.

"That's how we came up with this package of seven new and improved features, all directly in response to helpful suggestions from cab owners and drivers." 

The new E7 taxi features launched with the Summer Refresh model update are:

2. NEW FareAssist™ quick release door system for greater convenience
3. NEW heavy duty dual-mass clutch and flywheel for optimum reliability
4. NEW and improved security partition screen for added safety
5. NEW soft-sit passenger tip-up seats for improved comfort
6. NEW even higher visibility taxi sign for better earnings
7. NEW increased power, twin drive electric side step for even easier access (excluding S model)

Taxi Sales Boost

Taxi owners and drivers have responded very positively to E7's latest model refresh features, leading to a fresh upswing in orders at the company's UK manufacturing plant. 

"Every cabbie seems to have their own favourite among the new E7 taxi features," remarks Peter Facenna. 

"For some, it's the extra high-visibility 'For Hire' sign that tops the list, for others it's the reassurance of the heavy-duty flywheel and for others the added safety from the improved security screen. 

"Perhaps most popular of all has been the all-new, Fare Assist™ quick-release doors, which reduce hassle for drivers and impress customers as they get into and out of the taxi."
