Local cabbies enjoy a joke with Edinburgh Sales Manager, Sandra Docherty (centre)

Edinburgh Taxi Show a Big Hit

Cab Direct’s latest taxi roadshow took place in Edinburgh earlier this June and proved a big success.  The city’s cabbies were out in full force, as was the sun, making for a fantastic day in Scotland’s capital.

Showcasing two of the UK’s best loved cabs, the stunning Peugeot E7™ and the original Mercedes taxi, the outstanding M8™, the roadshow offered drivers the chance test-drive Cab Direct’s ever popular hackney cabs as well as the opportunity to meet up with their local sales representatives.

There was also a selection of high quality factory reconditioned used taxis on display providing fantastic savings for the more economy minded cabbie.

As ever lunch and refreshments were provided, much to the delight of the hard working taxi drivers – most of whom went back to work fully fed and watered following their visit to the event.

Taxi Choice

Heading-up the event was Edinburgh Sales Manager, Sandra Docherty.  Sandra said: “Both the Peugeot E7™ and Mercedes M8™ are now really popular taxi choices amongst the trade in Edinburgh.

“Since Edinburgh taxi drivers won the right to a choice of vehicle back in 2006, we’ve never looked back.  The drivers have been really supportive of Cab Direct which is just fantastic and there’s always a great turn out at the roadshow.  This year’s show was no exception and the sunshine was a welcome bonus.”
