500 pound Christmas Prize

David Ainsworth, from Anlaby in Hull, had an extra happy Christmas this year, with a little helping hand from Cab Direct.  David won £500 in Cab Direct’s prize draw and received the money just in time to buy some extra prezzies for Santa’s sack – much to the delight of his two children, Jack and Amelia!

A Happy Cabbie
On winning the prize, David comments: “It took me by complete surprise winning the cash.  After I had entered the competition, I forgot all about it until I got the word to say I'd won. I was over the moon – my wife was too!” 

David continues: “Receiving the money in time for Christmas really took the pressure off in terms of earning – ideal at this time of year.  It was a very pleasant surprise.”

David has worked as a taxi driver in Hull for 12 years now.  Having previously owned the Peugeot Eurobus, he decided earlier this year that it was time for a change and opted for the Renault Trafic from Cab Direct.
