Mercedes M8 Far Superior

Colin Munro, from Edinburgh, is a happy man after taking receipt of his new Mercedes-Benz M8 taxi earlier this year.  The M8, the result of a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and Cab Direct, is the ultimate hackney taxi, tailor made for the professional driver.

Colin wasn’t originally going to buy an M8 cab. In fact, he had even ordered a TX4 until his friend recommend that he go and see the Mercedes.  And when he did, he quickly cancelled his TX4 and opted for the M8 taxi instead.  And he's glad he did: “It’s just a fantastic motor.  There’s loads of room and the comfort levels are excellent.”

And his praise doesn’t end there: “It’s far better on fuel than the TX.  Plus the reduced emissions mean lower tax so that’s another saving.  And it’s a lot quieter.  I really love it.  And so do my customers.”
